Iconosquare now includes a Free Plan after trials, with specific limits and upgrade opportunities.

Iconosquare is rolling out a Free Plan that you are automatically moved into when your trial ends. This allows you to keep exploring the platform with a limited feature set and clear upgrade paths.

You don’t need to select this plan: if you don’t upgrade before your trial ends, the Free Plan applies automatically. It mirrors much of the Launch plan, with a few important differences.

What you can do on the Free Plan

• Profiles and users: Manage up to 2 social profiles and 1 user. X (formerly Twitter) is not available on the Free Plan.

• Analytics access: View profile analytics, content analytics (posts, stories), and custom dashboards.

• Reporting (XLS): Export social profile reports in XLS format.

• Publishing basics: Access scheduling tools and the media library. Cross-posting and saved caption templates are included.

What’s limited or blocked

• Data window: Access limited to the last 31 days. Older dates are disabled in selectors.

• PDF and advanced reporting: PDF exports, scheduled reports, email sending, and recurring report scheduling are blocked with upgrade prompts.

• Listening modules: Competitors, hashtags, and custom feeds are locked. Attempts to open them will display an upgrade message.

• DMs and advanced collaboration: Instagram DMs, approval workflows, and other advanced collaboration tools are unavailable.

• Scheduling quotas: Limit of 10 scheduled posts per profile (20 total), with upgrade prompts when the limit is reached.

💡 Tip: Whenever a feature isn’t included in the Free Plan, you’ll see a clear message with an upgrade option. Tooltip: “Upgrade your plan to access the feature.”

How the trial works now (mobile and desktop)

• Automatic 14-day Excel trial: Your trial starts automatically when you sign up and connect your first social profile (no plan selection required).

• Simplified mobile onboarding: Email + password → code verification → connect a social profile → direct access to the app with full trial access.

• After the trial: If you don’t upgrade, you’re automatically moved to the Free Plan. No action required.

What happens when you move to the Free Plan

• Social profiles: If you have more than 2 profiles, we keep the 2 with the highest follower counts (excluding X) and deactivate the rest.

  • If you end up with 0 profiles (e.g., you only had X), you’ll be redirected to the add-profiles flow.

• Users: If you had multiple users, only the admin/creator remains.

• Scheduled posts: They remain visible but are paused.

• Scheduled reports: Automatically paused.

• Plan label: Your account will display “Free Plan” on both desktop and mobile.

Choosing the right plan

If you need more users, profiles, extended data history, or advanced features (PDF, competitor listening, DMs, higher scheduling limits), consider upgrading to Launch, Scale, or Excel.
For specific needs (starting at 20 profiles), explore Custom plans.

• Will I lose my data when my trial ends?
  No—your data remains stored, but access is limited to the last 31 days on the Free Plan.
• Can I keep more than 2 social profiles?
  Not on the Free Plan. We’ll keep your top 2 profiles by follower count (excluding X).
• Can I export PDF reports or schedule reports?
  Not on the Free Plan. XLS exports remain available; PDF and scheduling require an upgrade.
• Can I extend my trial myself?
  No. The self-serve extension button has been removed. Extensions, when applicable, are email-based through Sales.
