      Is my Instagram account a Business, Creator or Personal Account?

      Unsure whether your Instagram is a Business, Creator, or Personal account? Here's how to find out!
      • Open up Instagram
      • Open your profile page
      • Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the top right of your profile page.
      • Click on Settings.

      If you see a tab with "For professionals, and when clicked it gives you the option to "Switch to a professional account", then you can be sure that you have a Personal profile.

      If you see the following you have a Professional account which is split into two categories; Business account or Creator Account: 

       

      To change back to a different account type, you can click "Business tools and controls" and you will then be presented with the option switch account type (see below).
