We are updating the way we calculate and display LinkedIn Impressions to improve accuracy and consistency. Previously, we displayed the total number of impressions for each media piece (e.g., a post or video) on a given day, which could be misleading. Now, we will display the total number of impressions broken down day by day over the selected period. This means you will see a daily total of impressions for each day in the selected timeframe. ### Why is this change being made? This change is being made to provide more precise and consistent data. By breaking down impressions day by day, you will get a clearer picture of how your content performs over time. This new method aligns impressions with how we already display Reach, making all your analytics more consistent and easier to compare. ### What are "Reach" and "Impressions" in LinkedIn analytics? - **Reach**: The number of unique users who have seen your content. - **Impressions**: The total number of times your content has been displayed, regardless of whether it was clicked or not. ### How were impressions calculated before this change? Previously, we displayed the total impressions of all media for the selected period as a single sum. For example, if you had 5 pieces of media, we summed up the impressions for each piece on the current day only, which could lead to inaccurate data representation over a selected period. ### How will impressions be calculated now? Impressions will now be broken down and displayed day by day for the selected period. This means that if you select a week, you will see the total number of impressions for each day within that week, providing a more accurate view of how your content performs over time. ### Will this affect impressions on individual posts? No, this change primarily affects page impressions. Impressions on individual posts will still be recorded based on the day the post was made. ### How will this update benefit me? - **Accuracy**: You will have a clearer, more accurate picture of how your content performs over time. - **Consistency**: Data on impressions will now be consistent with Reach and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on the platform. - **Insight**: You will gain better insights into daily engagement trends, helping you refine your content strategy more effectively. ### Does this change affect how Reach is displayed?
