Why is Iconosquare discontinuing analytics and management features for X (Twitter)?
We regret to inform you that due to a significant increase (x10) in the cost to access the API that allows us to provide analytics and management features for X (Twitter), we are no longer able to sustain these services.
In order for Iconosquare to maintain functionality for X, we would be forced to reflect the cost increase across our pricing packages - and we simply do not wish for this decision to impact our users financially.
This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact it may have on our users.
When will these changes take effect?
The discontinuation of analytics and management features for X (Twitter) will take effect on October 31st 2024.
Will I still be able to use Iconosquare for other platforms?
Yes, Iconosquare will continue to offer analytics and management features for other supported platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Our commitment to providing high-quality services for these platforms remains unchanged.
What will happen to my existing data and reports for X (Twitter)?
Your existing data and reports for X (Twitter) will be available for download until October 31st 2024. We recommend that you export any important data before this date to ensure you have a copy for your records.
Will there be any changes to my subscription plan?
Because Iconosquare functions on the basis of the number of social profiles you connect, regardless of the network, there will be no need to change anything in your subscription. If you wish to replace a Twitter profile with a profile from another network, you may do so without upgrading.
