      What photo and video formats does Iconosquare accept on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn?

      Facebook and Instagram supported formats

      You can upload and schedule photos of up to 8MB (for Instagram) and 4MB (for Facebook) and videos up to 100MB (for Instagram) and 150MB (for Facebook).

      Accepted video formats are .avi,.mp4,.3gp,.3g2,.webm,.mkv,.m2v,.m4v,.mov.

       

      To use our automatic posting function, media must meet the following criteria:

      Single image Specifications:

      • Maximum file size:
        • Instagram: 8MB
        • Facebook: 4MB
      • We support JPEG, PNG, BMP, and non-animated GIFs
      • Must be within a 4:5 to 1.91:1 aspect ratio range
      • Minimum resolution: 150x150 (lower resolutions will be scaled up to the minimum)
      • Maximum resolution: 1920x1080 (higher resolutions will be scaled down to the maximum)
      • Color space: Instagram supports the sRGB color space. Images that use other color spaces will have their color space converted to sRGB.

      Animated photos are not supported for Facebook pages, and a photo must be less than 10MB in size.

       

      Video Specifications :

      • Container: MOV or MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 14), no edit lists, moov atom at the front of the file.
      • Audio codec: AAC, 48khz sample rate maximum, 1 or 2 channels (mono or stereo).
      • Video codec: HEVC or H264, progressive scan, closed GOP, 4:2:0 chroma subsampling.
      • Frame rate: 23-60 FPS.
      • Picture size:
        • Maximum columns (horizontal pixels): 1920
        • Minimum aspect ratio [cols / rows]: 4 / 5
        • Maximum aspect ratio [cols / rows]: 16 / 9
      • Bitrate: VBR, 5Mbps maximum
      • Duration:
        • For Instagram: 59 seconds maximum, 3 seconds minimum / File size: 100MB maximum
        • For Facebook: 60 seconds maximum, 3 seconds minimum / File size: 150MB maximum

      Reel Specifications:

      • Container: MOV or MP4 (MPEG-4 Part 14), no edit lists, moov atom at the front of the file.
      • Audio codec: AAC, 48khz sample rate maximum, 1 or 2 channels (mono or stereo).
      • Video codec: HEVC or H264, progressive scan, closed GOP, 4:2:0 chroma subsampling.
      • Frame rate: 23-60 FPS.
      • Picture size:

        • Required aspect ratio is between 0.01:1 and 10:1 but we recommend 9:16 to avoid cropping or blank space.
      • Video bitrate: VBR, 25Mbps maximum
      • Audio bitrate: 128kbps
      • Duration:
        • INSTAGRAM : 15 mins maximum, 3 seconds minimum
        • FACEBOOK : 90 seconds maximum, 3 seconds minimum
      • File size: 150 MB maximum

      Story Specifications:

      Image

      • Format: JPEG
      • File size: 8 MB maximum.
      • Aspect ratio: We recommended 9:16 to avoid cropping or blank space
      • Color Space: sRGB. Images using other color spaces will have their color spaces converted to sRGB

      Video

      TikTok supported videos

      Videos:

      • Number: One maximum video
      • Refresh rate: 23 to 60 frames per second
      • Duration: 3 seconds to 10 minutes
      • Weight: 1GB
      • Minimum height and width: 360px

      Caption:

      • Maximum character count: 150 characters

       

      Twitter Supported formats

      Image specifications:

      • Supported image media types: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP
      • Maximum file size: 5 MB
      • For multi-image posts, you can schedule up to 4 images at a time.

      GIF specifications (animated):

      • Maximum file size: 15 MB
      • Maximum resolution: 1280 x 1080 (width x height)
      • Maximum number of frames: 350
      • Maximum number of pixels: 300 million

      Video specifications:

      • Maximum file size: 512 MB
      • Maximum frame rate: 60 FPS
      • Dimensions: - width min 32, width max 1024
                               - height min 32, height max 1280
      • Duration: Between 0.5 and 140 seconds
      • Aspect ratio: Between 1:3 and 3:1

       

       

      LinkedIn supported formats

      Image:

      • A maximum of 9 images is supported
      • Images must be less than 3615x2320 pixels
      • Images must be in JPG, GIF, and PNG formats
      • Only GIFs of up to 250 frames are supported

      Video:

      • A maximum of 1 video is supported
      • The video must have a maximum of 60fps
      • The file must be between 75KB and 200MB

      Text:

      • When creating a text post, a minimum of 1 character is required
      • A maximum of 3,000 characters is supported on text and other types of posts
