How can I mention a person when scheduling a post on my LinkedIn Page?

When scheduling a LinkedIn post from your Page via Iconosquare, you may want to mention (tag) a specific person in your caption. To ensure the mention works correctly, certain conditions need to be met on the side of the person you’re trying to mention.

Requirements for Mentioning a Person

In order for a person to be successfully mentioned from a LinkedIn Page:

They must follow your Page
Mentions from a LinkedIn Page are only supported if the individual follows that Page.
They must have their LinkedIn profile language set to English
LinkedIn mentions through third-party platforms like Iconosquare are currently supported only for users who have an English-language profile. This is a limitation on the LinkedIn API.

They must have profile visibility enabled
The setting “Profile visibility outside of LinkedIn” must be turned ON in their account. This ensures their profile can be recognized and mentioned by Iconosquare.
